Aviary Interactive: our games and this website

Last updated October 20, 2026

The short version. Our games do not collect personal information. There are no accounts to make, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. What a game remembers (your settings, your best runs, your progress) stays on your device. Leaderboards and achievements are handled by the store you play on, such as Apple Game Center or Steam, and we do not receive your personal details from them.

Who we are

Aviary Interactive is a one-person game studio in San Jose, California. This policy covers the games we publish, on every platform, and this website, aviaryinteractive.com. It applies to every game, so it does not name them one by one.

What our games keep on your device

A game stores files on the device you play on: your settings, your best scores and distances, your progress, and anything you have unlocked. These files are not sent to us and we cannot read them. On some platforms, uninstalling the game leaves these files behind in the game's data folder, and you can delete that folder yourself to remove them. Anything a store keeps for you, as described below, is removed through that store.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Our games do not ask for your name, email address, contact list, location, photos, camera, microphone or any other personal data, and they contain no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools that send information to us. They make no connection to a server of ours, because we do not run servers for players.

Stores and platform services

The platform you play on may run services for you, under its own privacy policy and not under ours:

The game itself never sends us your name, your account identifier or your friends list. Leaderboard entries appear under the display name of your store account, which the store shows to other players, and we can see that name on the leaderboard the same way any player can. We receive nothing beyond those entries. If you want a store to delete what it keeps, ask the store. We have no copy.

This website

This site uses no cookies of its own and no analytics. To show the page, it asks Google for the typeface it uses (Google Fonts), and the home page includes a Steam store widget loaded from Valve. Those companies, and our host, Cloudflare, can see your IP address and browser details when your browser asks them for something, as happens on any website. They handle that under their own policies. The press kit and some pages offer files to download. We do not track who downloads them.

Children

Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children. Our games are made for a general audience and are not aimed at children under 13.

Changes

If we ever add something that does collect information, such as accounts, our own leaderboards or analytics, we will change this page before that version is released and say so on the game's store page. The date at the top shows when this page last changed.
